Now on the way to my son's college. I am writing this on my lap top to help pass the time away. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas.I can't wait to hug and kiss my son. We have a surprise for him and his girlfriend, Becky but can not go into detail now, as he reads my journal. Becky and John have known each other since high school and Becky transferred to West Virginia from her college second semester freshman year, so that they could be together. Now they are both graduating and we are so proud of them both. We have left North Carolina, and have a five hour drive ahead of us.

 Yesterday my daughter Kara, my mother in law and myself spent the day "shopping". What a blast we had.! We went to all kinds of stores and I bought all kinds of new clothes, some a little tight so as to fit through the summer. The clothes are much cheaper in North Carolina than in NH. I have eaten in moderation and have resigned myself to the fact that the hundred pound goal is not going to happen this week, and that is ok, I am in the mood to celebrate and that is what I plan on doing!
