At times it seems that I have been losing weight forever and not close to my goal...Time and again I remind myself this is not a race, but a journey to health..It really doesn't matter how long it takes, as long as I am "walking the walk." I also remind myself that gaining the weight didn't happen overnight.
Dreams that one wishes to happen take effort to make into reality.
Which reminds me that I did not update the results of my D. I. teams efforts...They placed first in the competition Saturday and now will be competing in the next level on April 13th.. So it means another month of long days with teenagers.... I am sure I am nuts.
Actually I am so proud of them, they solved thier problem as a team and they did it well. They have been my inspiration as of late...Thier effort has been outstanding, and the results paid off.....They have taught me much over the last few months...such as...if you don't know you can't do it, then you can...if at first you don't succeed, try try again, and it is ok to complain the whole time you try,..that girls are more boycrazy than boys are girlcrazy at the age of 14... that even teenagers get tired of pizza after eating it four nights in a row..and that anything and everything is possible....you just gotta believe..
I do believe some day I will reach goal....I do believe.....I do.....
