I just arrived home after spending the weekend away with my sister and her family. We had a great visit I hadn't seen her in a year.. We took the kids snow tubing..and swimming. Our accommodations were great, there is something to be said about lounging in a roman spa after being out in the cold and snow all day.
I had made up my mind well in advance...about a month ago.. that when we went out for dinner Sat nite I would not follow the program, have a few drinks and eat in moderation whatever I chose.
Well I did just that, and nibbled on the appetizers along with everyone else. When dinner came.. I couldn't even eat one bite, and I felt sooo bloated it wasn't worth it. Here I thought it would be a special treat and it turned out when we got back to the hotel after dinner, I had to go to bed cuz I felt so full and uncomfortable.
I did, however, take my whole meal to go in a doggie bag and when I got home this evening I ACTUALLY fed it to the dog..that has gotta be a first..lol.
Started right back in this morning, even though I was still away.. I have not weighed myself so I don't know the damages, am sure there are some, but this was a decision that was well planned and thought out...It is done, it was my choice and I am once again on my journey.....I am sooo glad to be back....
