I captured this pic a week after the baby loon was born |

Yesterday Ed and I did just that. We put the trolling motor on our canoe and went slowly cruising down river in the late afternoon. The sunshining, sipping diet ice tea and enjoyed the moment for what it was..peaceful and serene.
As we glided along effortlessy we talked about anything and everything. At one point we saw a horse swimming in the water with his owner on his back, further along our journey we got to hear loons singing to each other..I am so thankful to have this down time and get to share it with Ed. During the year we are so busy with everyday life that when summer comes for us it is a renewal of sorts. He takes five weeks off and I take the summer off. We are blessed to have this time off to rejuvenate. Yes the lazy hazy days of summer are here.
